About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 8 years of experience in the counseling field. I currently live in Western NY with my husband, kitty and little chihuahua. I most commonly work with folks experiencing Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Dissociative Disorders and Trauma. Throughout my life I have struggled with most of these issues and it’s my own recovery that gives me hope for others!

I am EMDR certified; that means I work with folks who have been through difficult and painful experiences that continue to affect their life today. Some of those experiences may include neglect, loss, abuse or stigma. I use a social justice lens and provide weight neutral care. I acknowledge the systems that keep folks oppressed and the challenges and trauma that those systems create.
